Article Management

3.1 Article Rating

Article Rating is an AJAX based feature that allows users to rate articles. Articles then shows up in the Top Rated Article Section on the home page or other pre-selected locations

3.2 Top Rated Articles

The Top Rated Articles feature uses input from readers to highlight certain articles on the site. Based on a scoring system, articles that receive the highest vote totals will automatically be placed either on the home page or through selected placement on the various category pages.

• The admin can choose from specific categories and sections

3.3 Most Read Articles

Most Read Articles show what's being read the most on the site. Users access stories either through the home page or category, depending on how the preferences are set. The articles are rated based on page views and can be drawn from any section or category based on settings.

3.4 Most Commented Article

Most Commented Articles shows the list of articles having more comments. Users access stories either through the home page or category, depending on how the preferences are set.

• Admin can set the total (count) links to display under this section
• Set the line size (in characters) for the article title links in this section
• The admin can choose to list articles from specific categories and sections.

3.5 Article Comments

With the Article Comments feature, users can write Comments about articles in the various sections and categories of the site. There's also the ability for front-end comment moderation and the ability to delete and edit comments before they are published.

3.6 Print Article

The print feature allows users to print out the articles of their choice. (This feature can be enabled or disabled by the publisher).

3.7 Download Article PDF

Articles can also be downloaded to the user's computer as a PDF (this feature can be enabled or disabled by the publisher).

3.8. E-mail Article

The e-mail feature allows users to e-mail their favorite articles to their friends (this feature can be enabled or disabled by the publisher).

3.9 Tag Cloud

A Tag Cloud on the home page of a site can be used to find articles with relative ease. Tags operate off the use of keywords. A home page Tag Cloud automatically picks matching keywords and shows a select number of tags.

• Admin can enter keywords for all articles
• Simultaneous new article posting
• Tags module which allows keywords to be added for multiple articles in a single window.
