Pressmart Media Ltd. announced today that Metroland West Media Group, a division of Metroland Media Group, publisher of over 100 community newspapers, magazines and specialty publications, Ontario’s largest and most successful community newspaper publisher, a division of Torstar Corporation (Toronto Stock Exchange: TS.B), has signed an agreement appointing Pressmart Media Ltd., service provider for conversion and hosting of its Digital Editions.

Pressmart will co-develop, host and electronically deliver the print-replica Digital Editions of Metroland West Media Groups’ newspapers, magazines and specialty shoppers on its New Media Delivery Platform™. Offering Web 2.0 features that include Blogs, Podcasts, RSS feeds, and Social Media integration, the Digital Editions will be delivered across multiple distribution channels. Distinct from web-based versions of newspapers, the Digital Editions will be actual replicas of the print editions.
