Next mobile killer application from India, says Nokia
The next killer application in the mobile value-added services space (MVAS) will come from India and will transform the way rural masses in the country live, work and receive information.
This application will be so simple that we’ll be left wondering why we didn’t have it 10 years ago, says Kenny Mathers, head of developer relations, Nokia Asia Pacific.
Mobile VAS are all those little applications, games and interactive communication features not part of the basic voice service that the mobile service operator provides.
Typical examples include sending text messages to all those reality TV shows, downloading ringtones and wallpapers, receiving email on your Blackberry, and the like.
