Junior ministers ask Prime Minister for more work
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday reassured the junior ministers in his government that he would adopt a flexible approach "to find ways and means to better utilise talent" after listening to their complaints on the work allocated to them. Dr Singh said he would take up the matter with their senior, the Cabinet ministers.
Sources said the Prime Minister was extremely positive throughout the 80 minute meeting, and asked the ministers of state to play an active role in the framing of the forthcoming 2010-11 Union Budget and to ensure that the UPA's agenda was implemented for the benefit of ordinary people.
