Lions club marks 60th anniversary
Lions Club, the first Lions Club organized in Cebu in September 1949, is celebrating its 60th Charter Anniversary with a Grand Diamond Anniversary and Induction Ceremonies tomorrow at Cebu City Marriott Hotel.
Lion dignitaries, past Lion governors and delegates from the 20 Lions Club in Cebu are expected to attend the event. To be inducted as president is Rachel Yang-Lim, a dentist and daughter of 1994 past president Elizabeth Yang.
All Lions Clubs International is adapting the theme, "Move to grow," for this year.
