Anil, Sonam star in Montblanc's first TV ad

Writing brand Montblanc is planning to launch its first ever television commercial in India. The German company has roped in Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam Kapoor as brand ambassadors.

The creative duties have been bagged by Meridian, an agency of Ogilvy & Mather. The overall investment in the brand-building and promotions was not shared by Dilip Doshi, chairman and managing director of Montblanc India. However it has significantly increased over the past year. The commercial will be on air from Wednesday and a formal announcement by the company will be made next week. "I am absolutely delighted that our efforts to create something unique in terms of creating awareness of this legendary brand has come to fruition," Doshi said. The Kapoors have been signed for a year-long contract with the brand. The company will be doing a 360-degree campaign around the television commercial.
