Slumdog most nominated for Soundtrack Awards
It looks like Slumdog Millionaire has not yet ended it's award-winning spree. After eight Academy awards and four Golden Globes, the Mumbai-based potboiler is leading the nominations for the 9th World Soundtrack Awards.
Composer A.R. Rahman who won two Oscars for his work in the Danny Boyle directed film, has collected three more nominations at the World Soundtrack Awards, reported Variety magazine.
The rag-to-riches drama was nominated in three categories including Best Original Score of the Year in which it will compete with Burn After Reading and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button among others and Best Original Song written directly for a film.
