Life term for Potter actor killer
Killing of teenage actor Rob Knox, who had worked in a Harry Potter film, was on Thursday morning sentenced to life in prison. Karl Bishop, 22, will have to remain in prison for at least 20 years.
Knox, 18, was stabbed five times by Bishop outside a club in Sidcup, southeast London, in May 2008.
Bishop, armed with two knives, stabbed anyone who came near him, injuring five others in addition to Rob Knox just after midnight on May 24, the Metropolitan Police said. Rob had just finished filming the role of Marcus Belby in the forthcoming film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
