Advani website: 270 log in as ‘volunteers’
The BJP plans to web-cast its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani’s public functions henceforth.
While Advani has been crisscrossing the country as part of his Vijay Sankalp Yatras, his campaign managers are enthused by the response to his recently-launched political portal — lkadvani.in.
In the first week of its launch, the site has managed to get 270 applicants who want to work as “volunteers” for Advani’s campaign. The site has got 670 members registered in the first week of its launch.
Speaking at the website launch, Advani had called the Internet the biggest invention of modern times. Advani’s campaign managers, on the other hand, plan to employ the portal as a campaign tool as was done in the US and elsewhere.
