Sachin is not retiring

Sachin Tendulkar is not retiring. The master blaster has rubbished rumors of his departure, once again bringing into spotlight that, as has become usual in the media, his comments have been taken totally out of context. The master blaster's wife also had to step into the limelight to reassure people that he was not retiring yet or anytime soon.

It would be a shame for him to retire at this stage considering how brilliantly he has played this summer. His statement was probably a wry comment on how his age is finally catching up with him. For somebody who has played cricket for so long and with as much passion and dedication he has, acknowledging his physical condition should not be a big deal. But, he is after all Sachin Tendulkar and anything he does, is always newsworthy. However, just so everyone knows, he is not retiring.
