Roger Waters - a name synonymous with the origins of psychedelic rock, extravagant laser lights and unconventional sounds is back in India. The ex-Pink Floyd member is to perform live in Mumbai on 18th Feb. Waters is best known for his career as a song writer, composer, guitarist and bassist with the legendary psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd.
His shows are marked by visually ecstatic laser lights, 360 degrees quadraphonic sound and unparalleled overall experience. At 63, he is one of the most famous legends of rock alive and active.
He is to perform the 'Dark side of the moon' live at MMRDA grounds in Mumbai. This is his second visit to India in this decade. He was here to perform live at Bangalore in 2002. The performance would include the unforgettable songs like 'Shine on you crazy diamond', 'Breathe', 'Time', 'Wish you were here' and 'Mother'. Encore includes, 'comfortably numb' and 'Another brick in the wall'
