Wedding On-Air

With over 36,000 weddings being held on 13th December in Delhi alone, there was this deja vu when one went around the streets of the Indian capital. However there was this one of a kind 'on-air' wedding that seems to have caught everyone's imagination. Popular radio broadcaster Radio Mirchi has introduced a concept called Mirchi Hain Baarati where one lucky couple get to marry on-air. From doling out money for wedding finery, accessories, jewellery to getting clothes and beauty sessions for the couple; the channel took care of it all. During the day of the marriage they also had a live punjabi band playing in the background and the newly wed celebrities then got a special send-off in a Mirchi car. For more on the story click here

They say marriages are made in heaven. These special weddings just goes to show how close we are to paradise. Other special weddings would include Hot-air balloon wedding, Underwater wedding, cliff wedding and it wouldn't be long before one heard of a wedding on moon.
