Decision-making is the art of taking risks that are worth it
Unlike animals, human beings can make decisions that go against their natural instincts - assessing risks, overcoming fear and showing courage. However decisions are always at war wih doubts, and sometimes the doubts are justified. But while the avoidance of risk may look like a rational short-term strategy, in the long run it is the riskiest strategy of all, since it leaves us unable to take the crucial decision on which our future depends.
