In the News

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
The Mohit Suri flick 'Woh Lamhe (that moment)' which is based on the yester-year Bollywood actress Parveen Babi tryst with Mahesh Bhatt is going great guns at the box-office. The movie has a lot of catches, apart from the photogenic faces in Kangana Ranaut & Shiney Ahuja; its their acting and story screenplay that takes most of the accolades.
Talking about releases this festive season, another awaiting movie this festive season coinciding with Diwali & Ramzan would be Farhan Aktar's remake of the famous movie Don. It's starring Shahrukh Khan in the lead. He has Amitabh Bachchan's huge shoes to fit. However the movie is already going the right way, especially when it comes to promotions. Citibank has tied-up with the distributors and has come up an offer.By opening a NRI checking account you not only get the minimum balance waived but also get a Don DVD absolutely free. Now you can call that bench-marketing.
Another interesting development, though not from the Cinemas, but actually from the real-life Thai Royal family is the Blog of Princess Maha Chakri. The trailblazer along with the British Council has set up the blog (http://access.britishcouncil.or.th/) and not surprising she has stressed the importance of English in her Blog.
