AD Submission Guidelines
Naming of banners
  • Use only small letters instead of big caps
  • No spaces in between the banner title name. If required, use '_' (underscore) not '-' (hyphen).
  • Flash banners must have the same title names as GIF/JPEG banners.
  • Example: Pressmart_728x90_19june04.swf / Pressmart_728x90_19june04.gif
Submission Guidelines
  • All FLASH banners require a clickTAG. For ALL Flash banners a click TAG command on the button layer is required as shown below:

  • The clickTAG button should be on the topmost layer.
  • The command should not contain any extra code like  “_blank” or fscommand.
  • Frame rate should not exceed 18 frames per second, 12 frames per second is preferred.
  • No music or audio on load.
  • Backup GIF/JPEG creative is MANDATORY.
  • The clickthrough URL should NOT be embedded in the flash creative.
  • Black border needs to be added on all the banner creatives – GIF and SWF.
  • CLOSE button mandatory for all DHTML banners.
  • REPLAY button mandatory for all DHTML banners.
  • All DHTML banners – animation time – 12 secs.
  • Sequence of layers in the flash file for DHTML ads:
    - Topmost layer – REPLAY BUTTON
    - Below – CLOSE BUTTON
    - Below – CLICK TAG BUTTON LAYER
